Josué is a native Cuban - currently living in Mexico - who has studied various forms of music - and can switch from flamenco to jazz to folk in a heartbeat. Paulina - a Mexican - has a voice that is fabulous and versatile - and whether singing Fado music (Portuguese soul), Mexican folk songs or southern blues - she is equally comfortable and natural.
Together - these two have just compiled a new CD entitled "Ya Dios Dirá" - literally translated "God will say" or how we might say "Time Will Tell". This album will be presented for the first time on this Western Canadian Tour - so be one of the first to enjoy it!
Meanwhile check out Paulina's Fado rendition here - called Lagrima (with Josue on guitar)
One of Josué's most admired musicians was Spanish virtuoso guitarist, Paco de Lucía whom he met. Check out this link to hear Josue playing one of Paco de Lucia's compositions La Barrosa http://www.josuetacoronte.com/paco-de-lucia.html
Josue performed at the Zihuatanejo International Guitarfest (Mexico) in 2014 and again this year in March 2018. Through that fest - he met Cousin Harley aka Paul Pigat - mr rockabilly himself - and from that connection - who KNOWS what songs are brewing and what fusion tunes will escape from Josue's guitar. I am on the edge of my seat!
