The last Sunday of the month is usually our Soup Making time -
from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
You can either book a full event (14 or 15 people) or join a
mixed group and meet new friends. The group is supplied with
all the ingredients, directions and - with the help of a guest chef -
have fun making 3 big pots of hearty soup. Most of this is ladelled into containers, labelled( and delivered (by organizers) to Joy's Place - a safe house for women and their children in the Tri-cities.
After the soup is packaged - then the party changes gears - and its time for the group to
enjoy some of their soup, delicious salad and some wine - while relaxing and socializing.

The Milk Crate Bandits make music to make you dance, smile and party. It's music born on the streets. Walking down the streets of Vancouver you might see them on their stolen plastic thrones and playing the sounds of New Orleans. Yes, some may say they're crooks but the petty theft of a milk crate from a back alley is surely absolved by the love they'll give you if you come and listen. The joy of the music will make you jump, holler and shout and some even say that being party to a misdemeanour makes it all the more fun!
Mike Cody and The Woodpeckers play fast, foot stomping, toe curling Irish-Bluegrass music. Devon Wells on banjo and Chris Russell on guitar, two of the finest bluegrass players around and Wild Oscar on the fiddle-bodhran with angelic backing vocals all join Mike for this extraordinarily fun night.
